BGMI: Early Access Granted to Streamers | Name change, Account Restoration, Royale Pass, Inventory and more.

    Almost all Indian PUBG Mobile content creators were granted the early access to Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) game. Many of those YouTubers went live on YouTube on 17th of June, 2021 revealing the features of the newly made BGMI game for India. Along with it, they also guided the audience through restoration of their Global accounts to BGMI.

    Actually, everyone residing in India were given the right to enjoy the early access of BGMI.

    Game Icon

    The game icon which shows up as an application's thumbnail is quite different than the original PUBG Mobile. The icon features a guy with a level three helmet, along with the colours of India's national flags.

    Loading Screen

    Nothing has changed. The loading screen is almost similar to that of the global version. The only distinct change is the difference in the logo. The title reads 'Battlegrounds Mobile India'. Rest of the loading screen are familiar to the audience.

    Sign-in Options

    As per the early access, sign-in options were only available via Facebook or Twitter. In future, this may get extended to Google Play Games, Guest accounts and more.


    Friends

    As you restore the data from your global account to BGMI, you will notice that your friends list has been emptied. This could be a sign that the users of BGMI will be limited only to the users of BGMI. Meaning, players of BGMI shall not be matched up with players of PUBG Mobile Global version or any other.


    Royale Pass

    The Royal Pass continues from the ongoing Season 19 - Traverse. The audience had expected a completely new and designated Season 1, especially made for India which may or may not be available in the national release of Battlegrounds Mobile India.


    Skins and Dresses

    Once the account has been restored or transferred, every items that you owned previously in the global version of the game will be available. Every skins, upgradable weapons, dresses, RP collections will be available to you. Even the latest, Godzilla's and Kong's sets, pets, and much more items are available if you owned it in the Global version.


    Career Results

    Your ranks, tiers, and achievements are all secured. You can access all of them from the statistics. Nothing has changed from the global version, to be honest.

    Live Streams

    World's largest PUBG Mobile streamer Dynamo Gaming was seen on live showcasing the brand new Battlegrounds Mobile India's early access. However, two very big Indian streamers: Mortal and Scout were not seen live streaming, which was not what we expected.
