Assault Rifles are those guns . All Assault Rifles can equip every scopes, except the 8x Scope. These guns use only either 5.56 or 7.62 mm ammunition.
M416:
It uses 5.56 ammunition.
This gun is popular among newbie, rookie and pro. Due to the greater stability, good fire rate and less recoil, it becomes the must have fun in this game.
It can have all four attachments: Muzzle, Grip, Magazine and Stock.
Here are some of the best attachments for M416 you can go with:
1) Compensator + Half Grip + Tactical Stock + Extended Quickdraw Reload Magazine
2) Compensator + Vertical ForeGrip + Tactical Stock + Extended Quickdraw Reload Magazine

Suppressor is not loved with this gun. Suppressor has no other works then hiding the flash when fired and reducing the volume of the gun. While Compensator greatly reduces the recoil.
If you do not understand what is recoil. Remember this simple Newton's their law of motion, "To every action there is an equal but opposite reaction.".
Meaning if you fire the gun, the bullet moves in forward direction and you are pushed in the backward direction.
Scar-L:
It uses 5.56 ammunition.
The damage of this gun is the same as compared to the M416. The reason people do not use this gun so often, after they get M416, is that it accepts only three attachments. It doesn't have the tactical stock.
In the absence of the tactical stock, the spray that you transfer has less efficiency. The gun moves up and down, side and side when you fire this gun at auto mode.
This is the only reason SCAR-L is not so popular among the players.
It accepts Muzzle, Magazine and Grip.
AKM:
It uses 7.62 ammunition.
One of the deadliest weapon that is effective in both Single and Auto mode is AKM. This is the gun that will be present in every of the games you play because it simply has more damage compared to the other guns.
However, it accepts only two attachments: Muzzle and Magazine.
This greatly increases the recoil of this gun. Due to this reason, people do not prefer using this gun in mid and long range. While, it is suggested to be used in close range by almost all professional players.
Two headshots of AKM and you are dead.
M16A4:
It uses 5.56 ammunition.
Among the 5.56 AR guns, this is the gun with the greatest damage.
Though, it has the highest damage and accepts three attachments: Muzzle, Stock and Magazine, this gun is less preferred because of the single reason: It has only single tap and burst mode.
The absence of fully automatic mode decreases the merit of this gun.

However, one with greater accuracy can use the single taps of this gun in mid range combat and secure those kills.
M762:
It uses 7.62 ammunition.
A contender for the battle against AKM is M762. The damage of M762 is slightly more than the AKM in close combat.
Additionally, it supports three attachments: Muzzle, Grip and Magazine that increases the want of this gun over AKM.
The most preferred attachments for this gun is:
Compensator, Laser Light and Extended Quickdraw Reload Magazine.
MK47-MUTANT:
It uses 7.62 ammunition.
MK47-MUTANT is likely M16A4 gun but uses 7.62 ammunition. It can be used in both Single and Burst Mode.
However, not all of the players love to use this gun because it has very high recoil.
It accepts all four attachments i.e. Muzzle, Stock, Grip and Magazine.
If used decently, this gun can deal high damage but the usage of this gun is not seen much.
Air Drop Exclusive:
Groza:
It uses 7.62 ammunition.
When you talk about ARs in PUBG, the #1 gun Everytime on the list is always Groza. It has the highest damage out of all the AR guns.
However, it has some drawbacks. First one, it supports only two attachments i.e. Suppressor and Magazine. Secondly, it has greater recoil which not everyone can control.
Groza is the OP and OG gun of PUBG Mobile.
AUG A3:
It uses 5.56 ammunition.
This weapon is also like M416 but with slightly less recoil and more stability.
It accepts three attachments i.e. Muzzle, Grip and Magazine.
Since it is a drop weapon, people prefer to take this one instead of M416. But, not all players tend to do this.
Map Exclusive:
Sanhok:
QBU:
It uses 5.56 ammunition.
The QBU is more like a DMR than a close combat weapon. It has only Single tap mode that reduces its use rate.
Second reason, this gun is map-exclusive, it is found only in Sanhok and everybody prefers Mini14 or M416 rather than QBU.
However, an advantage that you get from this gun is the usage of 8x scope.

QBZ:
It uses 5.56 ammunition.
It is also a Beryl gun. The auto mode of this gun feels like the auto burst mode of the gun.
It supports three attachments i.e. Muzzle, Stock and Magazine.
Nobody would recommend this gun when you have two of the best alternatives i.e. SCAR-L and M416.
The damage is not greater than M416 or SCAR-L. So, carrying this gun as a 5.56 ammunition gun would not be suggested.
Vikendi:
G36C:
It uses 5.56 ammunition.
When it comes to professional and competitive playground and the map is Vikendi, people take G36C as an alternative of M416 rather than SCAR-L.
This is because of the stability of this gun. However, using this gun in close combat is not suggested.
