    PUBG MOBILE | POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE EFFECTS

    PUBG MOBILE has been the #1 battle Royale game for years now, from the time it got published in the Internet. It has created a huge fanbase who would undoubtedly say that it is the best game ever and has no drawbacks. However, we must not forget that China has banned this game and countries like India, Nepal, etc. had also planned to ban this game. From technical and social point of view, PUBG MOBILE is actually a sensitive game that has to be a matter of discussion for the availability of it to the below 18 children group. Today, we will discuss the pros and cons or advantages and disadvantages of PUBG MOBILE. This is a detailed review of this game.



    Hi there. I am Atith Adhikari. I have been playing PUBG MOBILE since Season 6. Collectively, I have played a total of 7 seasons of PUBG MOBILE. It is recently that I have started to play it daily and continuously for hours. I am at level 48 right now and have reached Ace Tier in Season 12.



    We have one saying in our city,

    So, let's start this blog with the advantages of PUBG MOBILE. We will discuss them in various aspects,

    • LIFE LESSONS:

    One would say me foolish if I say, "PUBG MOBILE teaches you very important life lessons that you won't get in your schools." However, I find this statement true. If you call me foolish for this, I won't argue because everyone has a different idea for the same thing.

    PUBG teaches you co-ordination, teamwork, leadership,  dedication and brotherhood. You might argue on these facts for the thing that one who plays Solo would not get anything else than dedication. For this, I would say, there are very few of them who play Solo only throughout the season.

    Adding to my statement, PUBG MOBILE is a game of survival. Meaning that you need to survive till the last : dedication. You are dedicated to perform the best you can to win the game.
    PUBG has got several modes and except classics and quick matches, you will find everywhere you need to play Duo or Squad. This means you need to strengthen the communication and build a synergy with your teammates to be able to win. In every team, there is a leader who leads. This builds leadership in the leader while it also makes the rest squad disciplined. Now, I think those who called me foolish in the beginning might have changed their mindset now!

    • HIGHER GRAPHICS IN LOW COST:

    For all those who call themselves a gamer, have had always wanted to experience high graphics gaming in a low budget. PUBG MOBILE is the best game that will fulfill their wish. Because, PUBG MOBILE is officially available in mobile, gamers will have to spend less money in comparison to that buying a beast PC or a beast gaming laptop. Where it costs around $3000 to build a stable gaming PC, it costs only around $1000 to buy a smartphone that supports high end games. PUBG MOBILE, is highly appreciated for its realistic game experience which can be felt in smartphones like iPhone X, ASUS ROG 2, etc. 



    It is not like other video games that require a desktop or at least a laptop to play the game. However, there are some games like COD MOBILE and FreeFire that come in a comparison with this game. As mentioned earlier, the realistic high graphics provided by this game is unbeatable by those games. 


    • FPP and TPP switch:

    This point might not add much to speak the advantages of PUBG MOBILE. Nevertheless, this fact cannot be neglected that this video game lets you experience both First Person Perspective (FPP) as well as Third Person Perspective (TPP) gameplay. And, if you are playing the TPP game, you can switch into FPP in the same game, if you want to. As far as I have seen, no other video games till date, have this feature enabled inside the game. Having this awesome feature, PUBG gives a wide room for players to choose the play style they are comfortable in. It is known that one might be better at FPP than TPP or vice-verse or in both. This video games leaves no negative comments for satisfaction of users.

    • GAME MODES AND MODE OF COMMUNICATION:

    The trend of games have evolved nowadays. Back then, we all loved the Legendary Game, Clash of Clans (COC). However, PUBG brought a revolution and made us grow from strategical game into online multiplayer battleground games. PUBG has designed its gaming experience for each and every users. The main reason behind PUBG's huge success is Voice Over in game. Players can communicate with other players in real time through hands free call and strengthen the synergy. 



    PUBG has released several game modes for users. To name a few are; Classic Mode, Payload Mode, Arena Mode and Evoground Mode. Inside of these modes, you will see many maps you can play in. These maps have their own uniqueness. 
    Another point where PUBG master's over other games are the duration of every matches. Players can play matches which range from 10 minutes- 20 minutes -30 minutes or more. If one is in hurry but still wants to play, Quick Matches would be the best option while TDM is another. But, if someone wants to play slow, Classic Modes are the one. So, it has designed modes for every type of player.


    • PROFESSIONAL CAREER:

    Esports is getting popularity these days. PUBG MOBILE has also been able to keep its name in the esports. There are several organizations that would love to sponsor the competitive players who perform really well. You get paid monthly once you are hired by an organization. You can earn extra by streaming into various platforms : YouTube, Twitch, etc. You can also win the tournaments and earn money.



    Having such great advantages (pros), this game still has many drawbacks (disadvantages /cons). Those arise due to carelessness of the player as well as overprotective nature of the guardians. Let's discuss them below:

    • VIOLENCE:

    This would always be my first point if I had to say something negative about PUBG MOBILE. Its I side note that it provides life lessons but it includes death, damage, gun firing, killing, destroying and damaging other person's property or body. The blood seen coming off of the players is red in color, by default ( which can be changed later on). This red color creates violence in the player's mind. 

    When you play PUBG, you aim for destruction rather than survival (excluding rank pushers). You go for kills and if you play long. This might affect your personal life too.

    When you die because of your teammates, when you get killed with no guns, when you get minus points every matches in a row, when you assault but see that opponents have been camping, you can't stay calm. You get raged up. You brag off your powers and might throw your phone away which can sometimes result in serious injury, while your smartphone can also get damaged. However, violence can never be removed from this game. Players will need to behave themselves.

    • LOSS OF SOCIAL INTERACTION:

    We need not talk much about this point. One who plays PUBG MOBILE for fun might not feel this problem. Nevertheless, addicted PUBG MOBILE player will for sure loose social interaction with the family, friends and society in real life. Yes, he/she will be active in voice over inside the game. But, if you notice, he/she will feel odd to communicate with others in real life. Gamers who have taken PUBG MOBILE professionally as a career, they are locked inside the room and grind for hours. They don't tend to go out and spend time with family and society. It is obvious that they will have five-six friends who would be very near them and would be frank with them. But, being a human and loosing the social health is not a good sign from any sorts of activities. 

    • PHYSICAL DISABILITY:

    PUBG MOBILE won't create a physical disability. But, there are so many body parts that are in a serious condition of being affected by playing PUBG for hours. The growing trend of PUBG creates a competition between friends. To keep up this competition, every friends want to play it for as long as they don't top their friends. Now, in these cases, if posture is not maintained, then playing PUBG MOBILE for long hours creates impairments in neck and back injury. If you play PUBG MOBILE more than 8 hours a day, dark circles might cover your eyes up to your cheeks, if not taken medical advice from the doctor. You loose physical interaction and exercises. This results in obesity, lack of sleep, tiredness and many more.

    In conclusion, PUBG MOBILE is never a bad thing. There are only positive aspects of PUBGMOBILE. All those negative aspects discussed here are the negative aspects of any video game. As I am writing a non-biased review on PUBG MOBILE, i would suggest everyone to play PUBG but don't get addicted. Lastly, Create Don't Hate.
